Osaze Odemwingie recently lashed out at coach Stephen Keshi and members of the Nigerian
Football Federation (NFF) on his twitter page for not being included in the African Nations Cup squad. (If you missed it, read it HERE).
A
top NFF official told reporters this week that Osaze would not be allowed to
go unpunished for the comments he made on Twitter. He said the case will be referred to the federation's
disciplinary committee to investigate and make recommendations to the
executive committee for the next line of action. The NFF rep said they plan to make a statement with
the action they will take against Osaze.

MANDELA discharged From Hospital
Veezee Reacts to Chris Brown Hook up
I'm sure some of you heard that Chris Brown supposedly hooked up with a
video vixen while in Nigeria last weekend for his concert. The lady in
the centre of the story is popular video vixen and model, Venita
Akpofure, popularly known as Veezee baybeh (second from left). She
spoke to me exclusively this evening about the speculation that went
viral on Social media. Below is what she said
I didn't have any sexual contact with Chris Brown. We all hung out after the show because we have mutual friends. I actually went with Wizkid who's cool with Chris. It's not abnormal for models/vixens to meet artists in the line of work that I do. I didn't really speak with him, just hello and goodbye. It was cool to meet him and he was polite enough to take a photo with us. We hung out with him after the show and I left for home to go and prepare for Christmas. It was nothing scandalous like what is being implied.
Thausands of Pro-Gun Supporters in US wants Piers Morgan Deported
Pro-Gun activists in the US want outspoken CNN host and British
national, Piers Morgan, deported from the country following anti-gun
comments he made in the wake of the Newtown tragedy.
Close to 70, 000 people have signed the petition demanding that Piers be deported immediately because according to them 'He is engaged in a hostile attack against the U.S. Constitution by targeting the Second Amendment. And also for his effort to undermine the Bill of Rights and for exploiting his position as a national network television host to stage attacks against the rights of American citizens.'
Fortunately for Piers, millions of Americans are behind him and support the ban of assault weapons.

Nigeriams Criticise President Goodluck for Xmas Message
Our president came under serious criticism from Nigerians after he
posted his Christmas message on his Facebook page yesterday. See what
he wrote below...
I want to seize this opportunity to wish you and your loved ones a merry Christmas and a happy New Year in advance. I feel the pains of Nigerians and that is why this Yuletide I have personally instructed that our roads be worked on to enable you and your loved ones to travel safely for the holidays. Not done, we ensured that for the first time in decades, the cross country services (Lagos to Kano with stops in cities along the route) of the Nigerian Railway Corporation were revived just prior to the holidays to provide Nigerian masses with an inexpensive alternative to road and air transportation.

Christ the reason for this season
*For to us a child is born, to us a son is given—Isaiah 9: 6
WE are in that special season once again, a season of joy, of peace, of great tidings. A season when we celebrate the birth of Christ the King, the redeemer of mankind! Jesus is the reason for the season.
What does Christmas mean to you and me? I will like to draw reference from the views of two writers. The first is J. C Penney who wrote, 'Christmas is not just a time for festivity and merry making. It is more than that. It is a time for the contemplation of eternal things. The Christmas spirit is a spirit of giving and forgiving.'
Next is the thought provoking words of George F. McDougall 'Christmas means a spirit of love, a time when the love of God and the love of our fellow men should prevail over all hatred and bitterness, a time when our thoughts and deeds and the spirit of our lives manifest the presence of God

Pres Jonathan gets Involved in Sambo`s N16billion residence Contract row
President
Goodluck Jonathan has stepped into the row sparked by the N9billion
variation on the contract sum for the new official residence of Vice
President Namadi Sambo.
The project was originally planned to cost N7billion.
A request for the approval of the National Assembly for an additional N9billion for the purpose of providing furniture, fence, two protocol guest houses, a banquet hall and security gadgets has provoked outrage across the country.
President Jonathan is said to be dismayed by the controversy trailing the request and asked to be briefed by Vice President Sambo on the issue.
