bomb blast at St Rita Catholic Church in Kaduna today killed at least 8
people and injured over 100. A suicide bomber drove a Honda CRV packed
with explosives into the church building at about 8.45am while
worshippers gathered for the Sunday service. Below is a message from

Lil Wayne is about to be released from a Louisiana hospital ... after suffering another seizure on board an airplane, his 2nd seizure in 24 hours... TMZ has learned.
Weezy was on board a flight from Texas to LAX -- when he began to convulse. We're told the flight was immediately diverted to Louisiana ... and Wayne was admitted to a local hospital for treatment.
We broke the story ... Wayne had been hospitalized last night after a pilot reported that the rapper was experiencing seizures on board his flight.

Governor Rotimi Amaechi of Rivers State has acquired a brand new Bombardier Global 5000 (N565RS) for his exclusive use, SaharaReporters has learnt.
Mr. Amaechi’s lavish new “toy” comes at a time hundreds of thousands of residents in his state are displaced by the worst flooding crisis in the state’s history.
The newly purchased jet left Montreal-Trudeau Airport in Montreal, Quebec to Dakar Yoff International Airport. And then it was delivered to the state government on October 7th 2012.

One of the airline’s officials who spoke to ThisDay said the deceased
might have hidden himself in the wheel well for days and was crushed to
death while the flight was airborne to the JF Kennedy Airport, New York,
from the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos.
The official who spoke to THISDAY said the dead body was found during a
check on the aircraft panel as it was being prepared for another flight
and that the undercarriage compartment of the Airbus A340-500 is big
enough to accommodate a person, besides the space for the tyres.

Sokoto Governor Flogs PHCN Mananger For Failing To Supply Electricity To His Community
Yes it did happen. According to the report, the Governor of Sokoto State, Alhaji Aliyu Magataka Wamakko gave N17million to the PHCN manager in charge of a substation in his hometown to buy a new transformer, cables and other things, and when the man didn't deliver, the governor invited him to his house and flogged him with a horsewhip.

Taraba State Governor, 5 others survive plane crash
Governor Suntai's plane crashed at about 7.45pm but was found almost one hour thirty minutes after crash.
Search & Rescue located the plane with all victims alive with various degrees of injuries. All passengers were transported to Yola Specialist hospital and later moved to the Federal Medical Centre.

OMG...Teacher Flogs Student To Death In Anambra State
A 12-year-old student of a secondary
school in Awka, Anambra State, Miss Chidimma Ukachukwu, has died after
she was allegedly flogged by her teacher for failing to do her homework.
A reliable source in the school told the News Agency of Nigeria in Awka on Tuesday that the girl died on Thursday last week after she was flogged. The source explained that the girl
fainted after being flogged severally by a female teacher and was
subsequently rushed to an undisclosed hospital, where she died.
Haven't they banned corporal punishment in Nigerian schools? Why are some teachers still flogging? WTH? Please continue...
