Pastor Benny Hinn Remarries former wife

Televangelist Benny Hinn has remarried his former wife and mother of his four children, Suzanne Harthern. Hinn married Suzanne in 1979 and divorced her 31 years later in 2010. He claimed at the time that the split came about because of Suzanne's addiction to prescription drugs. In 2012, Hinn announced that he and Suzanne have begun reconciliation and the couple remarried on Sunday March 3, 2013 in Orlando, Florida.

Presidency sacks Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority DG,Dr Harold Demuren

The Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, Dr. Harold Demuren, has been sacked. A statement was released today Monday March 11th saying the decision was approved by President Goodluck Jonathan after "a careful consideration" of Demuren's "unsatisfactory response to the numerous concerns of stakeholders in the aviation sector."

His successor will be announced in the coming days.

Nigerian women's rights advocate,Dr Josephine Odumakin honored by Michelle Obama

Nigerian democracy activist and women's rights advocate Dr. Josephine Okei-Odumakin, was one of the 10 phenomenal women who were honored by US first lady, Michelle Obama and US Secretary of State, John Kerry, on Friday March 8th in the US.

Dr. Josephine, who is the president of Campaign for Democracy and President of Women Arise for Change Initiative, was presented with the Secretary of State's International Women of Courage Award by John Kerry and Michelle Obama at a ceremony that held at the Dean Acheson Auditorium of the U.S. Department of State.

The annual Secretary of State's International Women of Courage Award honors extra-ordinary women around the world who have done great work in advocating for human rights, women's equality, and social progress.

Photo-NDLEA Arrests Grandma with Cocaine hidden In Hair

Giwa Ayoka Sikirat, a 53-year old grandmother, has been arrested with cocaine hidden in her hair, Nigeria's anti-drug agency said on Monday.
Sikirat was apprehended at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, NAIA, Abuja, the Nigerian Capital, while on her way to Pakistan, the agency said.
The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, said the suspect was arrested at the weekend following the discovery and seizure of a kilogramme of white powdery substance that tested positive for cocaine$
"The suspect, Giwa Ayoka Sikirat concealed the drug in her beautiful hair style while trying to board an Ethiopian airline Flight ET 910 to Pakistan enroute Addis Ababa and Dubai," NDLEA said in a statement.

Armed robbers robs Delta Church,Snatch Church Offering Box During Sunday Service, Kill Worshipper

A five-man gang of armed robbers has raided a new generation church(name withheld) in Boji-Boji Owa, Ika North East of Delta State and snatched the church's offering and abducted the security guard, leaving one person dead.



An eye witness said the robbers shot sporadically into the air to pave way for their operation in the church at about 10:30am during prayer session and ordered the worshippers to face the ground while their operation lasted.

Chelsea to sell Torres for less than £15m

CHELSEA will sell Fernando Torres this summer and are prepared to take a £35million loss on the misfit striker.

Torres has been a disaster since his move from Liverpool   Club owner Roman Abramovich has at last conceded that the £50m Torres experiment has been a disastrous failure after more than two years of frustration.

Russian club Anzhi Makhachkala are ready to end the Spaniard's misery with a bid at the end of the season, but Torres would prefer a move back to his home country – which may yet provide a way for Chelsea to tempt Atletico Madrid's Falcao to the Bridge.

New Islamic Terror Group, ANSARU-claim to have killed the 7 kidnapped foreigners

A splinter group from the Boko Haram Islam sect, Jama'atu Ansarul Muslimina fi Biladis Sudan, otherwise known as JAMBS, on Saturday announced the murder of seven foreign expatriates that were abducted in Bauchi State, on February 16, 2013.
 
The leader of JAMBS, Abu Usamatal Ansary, stated in a message posted in a Islamic website that the decision to execute the expatriates followed reported attempts by British and Nigerian Forces to storm the area where the hostages were being kept and release them, contrary to earlier warnings issued by the sect.

The expartriates who were kidnapped from a Lebanese Construction Firm, Setraco, at Jama'are, in Bauchi , were three Lebanese, and a citizen each from Britain, Greece, Italy and the Philippines.

Latin American drug cartels fund Boko Haram,Ansaru – Intelligence Report

There are indications that terrorist groups, Boko Haram and Ansaru, are being funded by drug cartels in Latin America, a report has revealed.

The report entitled, "Terrorism in Northern Africa and the Sahel in 2012: Global Reach and Implications," is an update on five earlier studies.
Published by the Director, Inter-University Centre for Terrorism Studies, USA, Yonah Alexander, in February 2013, the report suggested that Al-Qaida in Islamic Maghreb, had aligned with many other groups in order to expand its sources of funding.

World's Youngest Gay Couple Marry In The US


Two teenagers from Memphis, Tennessee have reportedly become the youngest married black gay couple in America.
According to The Scoop Entertainment, David Harris and Tre'Darrius Anderson tied the knot in Washington, D.C., in January. They are both 19.
The teenagers got married in front of the Lincoln Memorial surrounded by family and friends, as same marriages are illegal in Tennesse. They later posted a video of their special day on YouTube.

Update on Governor Suntai's True Health Condition  

Taraba State Governor Danbaba Suntai is suffering from loss of speech and inability to comprehend what people say to him because of brain injuries that could take years to fully cure, one of his personal physicians told Daily Trust.
Dr. Zakari Yusuf Aliyu, a professor of Medicine and Public Health, and Chief Medical Director of Taraba State Specialist Hospital Jalingo, said he recently visited the governor in Germany where he has been receiving medication since October last year, following the crash of a plane he was piloting near Yola, Adamawa State.
Aliyu said Suntai suffered injury to his brain during the plane crash, and that it could take "weeks, months, even years for him to come back to his pre-accident state."

Num 3 down as LASU cult war gets messier

Barely one week after Damino Damoche, the final year student of the Lagos State University, Ojo, was killed by suspected cultists in front of the institution's gate, another student was Thursday, murdered by suspected cultists on reprisal attack.
Although the deceased identified as Karim Abiodun, was reportedly not a student of LASU, but he was alleged to be a member of Buccaneer confraternity, whose members were said to be at war with members of the Eiye confraternity.
Report said the cultists stormed Karim's home located on Afolabi street around PPL in Okokomaiko area at about 4a.m yesterday, from where he was chased to Peoples bus-stop around Ajagbandi and shot dead. The late Karim, a second year student of Economic Education at the Lagos State College of Education, LACOED, would be the second person to be killed during reprisal attacks by warring cultists since the death of Damoche.
