Mikel John Obi Desperate To Score First EPL Goal

Chelsea midfielder Mikel Obi seems to be desperate to erase the major blemish in his profile. In the past few weeks, Mikel has demonstrated the desire to score, joining the attack severally especially during set pieces.

In 251 appearances for Chelsea since 2006, Mikel has only scored twice and in fact, the two goals were scored in the FA Cup in his first year at the club.
Since playing his first match for the Super Eagles in a friendly match against Libya in 2005, Mikel has only scored three times.
The first was against Zimbabwe in the 2006 Nations Cup, the second followed two years later against Benin Republic in the 2008 edition while the final one did not come until four years after, a penalty that contributed to the 6-1 defeat of toothless Liberia in the final 2013 Nations Cup qualifier last month.

ARTICLE....Jail Is Too GOOD For Nigerian Pastors

Found this article in Punch. Written by Abimbola Adelakun  (aa_adelakun@utexas.edu)
Recently, the Daily Mail, UK, had a feature on Bishop David Oyedepo. He was accused (alongside his son who ‘manages’ the UK branch) of fleecing worshippers by making “spurious claims” and “cynical exploitation of the gullible”.
The undercover journalist who visited the British church and the British MP who condemned him acted ignorant of the antithesis of faith and logicality when they expressed surprise about how people were urged to give more money in return for blessings that were neither guaranteed nor cognisant of the realities on ground.

Halimar Abubakar....Why I Shaved My Hair

"I was invited to participate in cancer awareness campaign by Waodiva and MTN. They did workshops on cancer, and a lot of survivors attended. I cried when I saw them. It was really shocking that people can go through that traumatic experience. I now decided to take off my hair as a way of honoring them. If you shave your hair, you understand better what it is. If you have someone that has gone through the ailment, you will understand what I am talking about. They normally cut their hair. Who doesn't want hair? Hair is every woman's glory. Shaving my hair is my own way of supporting the call against the dreaded disease." - Halima
