British Prime Minister Wants To Export Gay Marriage Around the World

British prime minister, David Cameron today vowed to 'export' gay marriage around the world as he held a party to celebrate the passage of legislation in Britain.

The Prime Minister told a gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender reception in Downing Street of his personal pride at legalising gay marriage.

Mr Cameron told guests at the same reception one year on that Britain was now "the best place to be gay, lesbian or transgender anywhere in Europe".

The controversial activist on his Facebook page disclosed his postion on the controversial child marriage bill.


Dokubo-Asari wrote, "People should learn to respect other people's sensibilities. We, Muslims have the right to marry when we want or give out our daughters at any age we want. It is not your business and the law must respect our right to do so.

Anything short of that is an infringement on our rights.We did not ask you to marry ladies of that age or give your daughters out in marriage at that age. Plzzzzzzzz respect our."

N’Assembly takes over Rivers legislature

The Senate  passed a resolution yestherday Thursday 25th july empowering it and the House of Representatives to take over the legislative functions of the Rivers State House of Assembly.
In the resolution which concurs with that of the  House on July 10, the Senate also flayed the attempt by five anti-Rotimi Amaechi lawmakers to impeach the state Assembly Speaker, Otelemaba  Amachree.
Chairman of the Senate Committee on Information and Media, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe,  said after the decision that a meeting between the President of the Senate, David Mark,  and the Speaker of the House,     Aminu Tambuwal,   would be held to draw up modalities for the running of the assembly.
Abaribe, in a telephone interview with one of  our correspondents in Abuja, explained that with the concurrence  which is in line with Section 11(4) of the 1999 Constitution,  the activities of  the state legislature stood suspended.

Lagos State Government Dumps Beggars in Onitsha

Lagos State Government Wednesday July 24th dumped over seventy people said to be beggars and homeless people in Onitsha,Anambra State.

The destitute were brought into the state around 3am and were left under the flyover at Upper Iweka Bridge after being detained in Lagos for months for begging, wandering and other minor offenses by the Lagos State Kick Against Indiscipline Officials. Many of the people dumped at the location said they were not even from Onitsha and didn't understand why they were dropped there. Some claimed they have family in Lagos and were picked up by KAI officials as they went to work.

This is the second time in a year the Lagos State govt will dump people at Upper Iweka in Anambra

President Jonathan's Wife losses Mum

The mother of Nigeria's first lady, Patience Jonathan, Mrs Iwari-Oba has died in a fatal auto accident along Elele Road in Rivers State. 

The first lady's mum was on her way to Bayelsa State when the accident occurred yesterday Monday July 22nd around 4pm. May her soul RIP...Amen

Joseph Yobo- I never sent my mother in law away

This is the reaction of joseph to the allegation of him sending his wife's mum packing....The Yobos and the Fashanus have a great relationship, a fantastic one at that and very good mutual respect for each other, and we thank God for that. 

'We have no problems at all.  We have two great houses next to each other in Istanbul, Turkey that is big enough to accommodate our families, without anyone invading on anyone's privacy. They are just trying to destroy the two families. 

Kate gives birth to a boy

Kate Middleton gave birth to a baby boy who became the 3rd in line to the throne and future king of England at St Mary's Hospital in Paddington around 4.24pm yestherday afternoon Monday July 22nd with her husband, Prince William by her side.

Kate and her new born baby are doing well and will be discharged later today

The marriage of Most Beautiful Girl in Nigeria 2008, Adaeze Igwe and Super Eagles captain Joseph Yobo is at the moment experiencing some turbulence, according to the National Enquirer. The love birds who got married in a hush manner, barely three months after meeting in December 2009 are said to be patching things so as not to caught the attention of the press and public in general.
