Jonathan`s Foreign Trip`s Gulped N3.3bn in 2012

Billions of naira of taxpayers’ money have been expended on the foreign trips of President Goodluck Jonathan despite his January promise to cut down on such trips.
This newspaper’s findings show that the President and his entourage have spent not less than N3.354bn on foreign trips since 2010.
Our correspondent learnt that in the
first 11 months of 2012, the President had travelled out of the country
at least 20 times, including his trip to Sierra Leone in October and the
D8 Summit he attended in Pakistan in November.

N2.1 billion Of Newly Printed NI,000 Notes Missing
The board of directors of the Nigeria Security Printing and Minting Company (NSPMC) met yesterday over the scandal that rocked the establishment where it was revealed that a whopping N2.1 billion of newly printed N1,000 notes have mysteriously gone missing.
The board meeting, chaired by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) governor, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi, decided to expand the investigation and audit the production of other currency denominations to ascertain the quantity of money that has actually gone missing over the years.

Man Kills Pregnant Lover
The family of a lady, Gloria Akpan, has accused their daughter’s lover, Ita Eyo, of killing her in his residence in Ayobo area of Ogun State.
Gloria and Eyo both from Akwa Ibom State had been cohabiting since March 2012 before the sad incident occurred on November 3. The lady was six-month pregnant before she died.
A family source, who craved anonymity, said when he spoke to Gloria on Friday, a day before her death, she told him that all was well, adding that it was shocking to learn that she had died the next day.

Nigeria Vice President to Get a N2billion Home
Our Vice President is getting a home worth N2 billion from the
government of Nigeria. There's a N50bn budget for the Federal Capital
Territory and N2bn, according to the FCT Minister Bala Mohammed, is
going into the construction of the official residence of Vice President
Namadi Sambo, while N300 million is for the construction of the
official residences of Senate president David Mark and his deputy, Ike
Ekweremadu; the Speaker, Aminu Tambuwal; and his deputy, Emeka Ihedioha.
So my question is; if they are building new homes for these people,
where were they living before now? First a N2bn 150-seater banquet
hall, now a N2bn home for the VP. This is the priority of the
Government of a country where more than half the population live on
under $1 a day. #Standingovation
Oh and Julius Berger is handling the home construction, with 20 months as
completion period.

While in Nigeria I got to hear he was married to Monalisa Chinda. When I got back to the US I did Google his name and I saw the whole story about his marriage. At that point we were already very close and used to talk a lot. Due to the fact that we were very close, I asked him about what I read about him on the internet and he confessed that he was married and didn't talk about it because we didn't have the chance to talk. I asked him what he did wrong and why he was so violent to his wife. All these questions I asked because we were already very close and he started explaining how he met the lady in London and brought her back to Nigeria to become an actress. He stated that things started going wrong when she became a Globalcom ambassador and she started misbehaving. How Pregnant Woman Died in PH Hospital Over 20k
The 34 year old woman, Ijeoma Umumadumere, nee Ahamefule, (pictured above) was rushed in the morning of 25 November to Garrison Clinic in Port Harcourt, when she complained of a sudden stomach pain and headache, while cooking. Her husband rushed her to the clinic on Udom street in the oil rich city. It was between 9-10 a.m. And she was five-months pregnant.
But doctors and nurses would not attend to the pregnant woman because the husband only had N5,000 on him, instead of the N20,000 being demanded, as a precondition for treatment. Even the N5,000 the man had on him had been used to offset registration and other costs.

Officials of the Nigerian Civil Defence Corps, Calabar, over the weekend monted a manhunt for a lady who allegedly had marathon sex with their colleague, Ofem Eta, during which he died.
