Sources close to the player in Port Harcourt revealed to Express Sports that he had been working as a taxi driver since arriving the United States last year from his former base in Russia.
"Chidi has stopped playing and is now in USA.I heard he invested heavily in taxi business which is a reliable source of income over there. The good thing is that he bought two houses in US. He rented out one of them and he leaves in the other apartment. He should be comfortable because he made a lot of money when he was in Russia and he invested wisely with it both at home and abroad'', a source disclosed.
Although he has denied it.
