Osaze Odemwingie has been punished yet again with another fine for his latest Twitter rant where he said that West Brom are trying to ruin his career.the club fined him £76,000
This is what he wrote on Twitter: "If they like they shouldn't even give me 10 mins to play. Threatening to ruin my career? Career I closed already last summer? No harm to me.

"Want to treat me like an average player. The abuse and praise I get is it average? So get some extra from me too."

Kano blast-survivors speaks out

As the smoke cleared from the New Road Luxury Bus Motor Park, in Sabon Gari Kano, victims of the terror attack, who were lucky to be alive to tell their stories, on Tuesday recalled moments before the bomb went off.

Most of the injured victims are currently receiving medical attention at the Murtala Mohammed Memorial Hospital, Kano.
One of the victims, Mr. Emmanuel Bassey, 37, who works at the Luxury bus park as a park attendant attached to Ezewanta Transport, said he was hurt but lucky and happy to be alive.

In a telephone interview with our correspondent, (before hospital staff ended the encounter), he was full of gratitude to God for sparing his life.

The leader of the Movement for the Actualization of the Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB and new Igbo leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike has warned Nigeria that Ndigbo would be forced to defend itself from the recent killings in various parts of the North.

Chief Uwazuruike, while reacting to the bomb blasts in Kano yesterday said the Igbo had been pushed to the wall by the Boko Haram insurgency, adding that the people would be left with no other option than to defend themselves.

Dana Air licence revoked

Jst days after the Federal Government's removal of the director general of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA) Dr Harold Demuren, news filtered into the industry on Saturday night that government had also revoked the Air Operators Certificate of Dana Air.The withdrawal of the airlines' certificate means its now impossible for the embattled carrier to continue flight operations.
Both the House of Representatives and Senate had earlier in the year passed a resolution asking the Federal Government to revoke the operating licence of Dana Air and to remove the Director-General of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority, among other things, based on the report of the committee on the investigation carried out on the 2012 Dana crash at Iju/Ishaga area of Lagos State which claimed over 163 lives on board the plane and on ground.

EIU ranks Lagos & Abuja Among The Top 4 Most Expensive Cities in Africa

A recent ranking released by the the Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU), a sister company of The Economist magazine on 25 African cities has placed Lagos and Abuja among the top four cities in Africa with the highest cost of living.
The key results of the cost of living rankings per city reveals that Abuja is the second most expensive city in Africa with a total expenditure score of 107.4. Lagos comes fourth with 100.8 total expenditure.

Ranking first on the list as Africa's most expensive city is Luanda in Angola with a score of 131.8, while Addis Ababa came last with a score of 60.8.
